Hey everyone! Thank you for joining us for another episode of Brilliant Talks, our free coaching service for real estate agents.
Before diving into the real estate side of things, in lieu of the upcoming new year, I wanted to talk a bit about having an environmental audit. I threw out some questions you can reflect on to get a good look at how your year has been in terms of the environment you choose to place yourself in. It is important because, whether we like it or not, our environment has a great impact on us: our thoughts, actions, and who we become.
And since we are already talking about questions, let’s talk about listing questionnaires.
When you are getting a listing, it is a great idea to ask several questions, pre-listing. What are these questions, and why are they important to ask? And after getting the listing, what are the important things to note when we follow up with our clients?

At this point, we are all probably aware that this is not a crash but just a housing price correction. Depending on where the economy is headed, we might experience a bigger dip than what we are seeing now.
But it is up to us agents to make sure that our clients understand (1) what the current status of the market is, and (2) what specific steps we are going to take to ensure that they still get the best deal despite the market shift in real estate.
Remember: In a market that has slowed down, it is up to us as real estate agents to get creative in finding solutions that suit our clients’ needs best.
